Well Being - the art of looking good from the inside out

THE RIBBON CUT
Well Being - the art of looking good from the inside outFrom the creator of "The Shag," the quintessential hairstyle of the '70's, comes a new technique for taming tresses called "ribbon-cutting." Stylist Richard Stein (whose shears have clipped dozens of famous heads) carefully snips half-inch to one-inch sections of hair, alternating long and short lengths, for a subtle woven effect. "With the irregularity cut in, there's nowhere for hair to go but where it belongs," says Stein of his newest wash-and-wear 'do.
